Ebrahim Hassan Beygi was born in 1957 in Iran. His first collection of short stories was published when he was 30 years old. So far he has 85 published book titles; which include 8 novels, 5 adult short story collections and many children and young adult books. Hassan Beygi is among the exceptional authors who write fiction for adults as well as for children and young adults. In 2000 “Rosebud on the Rug” was selected by the Munich National Library as an honored book. Some of his books have been translated to English, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Chinese, Turkmen and Azeri. Ebrahim Hassan Beygi now lives in Malaysia and as a professional writer he spends his time writing.
