Pooya Yazdani, ESL teacher, interpreter and translator and, was born and raised in Iran and is professionally fluent in both English and Persian. After graduating from BIHE (Baha'i Institute for Higher Education) with a BA in English Literature and Linguistics, she decided to pursue her studies in the UK. During her Master's studies in the UK, she started doing interpretation and small translation jobs. But it was only until later that she took translation seriously and published her first work in English in 2010, a compilation of short stories by Masoud Behnoud called Robin Hood of the Desert. At the moment, Pooya is residing in Canada, where she is a full-time ESL teacher and at the same time is working on her latest project, a novel by Masoud Behnoud.
