Born in 1987 in Tehran, Shima Elahi is an Iranian translator. She has a bachelor in Translation Studies and a master degree in English literature. Her main interest and concern is translating modern English short stories to Persian, but she also tries to translate the works of Iranian writers to English in order to promote the role and place of Persian modern prose. She has previously published some of these translated stories in various literary magazines.
