Description
Born in the northwestern city of Tabriz in 1923, Movahed joined the petroleum industry in Abadan in 1950.
Movahed a lawyer and a member of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, is an historian who has always spent his life in research, compiled, and translated and has researched in mystical texts, especially the critical printing of Shams-e- Tabrizi articles.
He is known for his books on Iran’s oil history. In addition to The Nightmare of Petroleum, Movahed has authored Nationalization and Damages; Lessons from Oil Arbitration.
